Managed Personal Accounts

We offer services to help you /your family member manage your personal health budget.

Accepting you need care can be a very stressful time and there are lots of new things to get used to,such as accepting people into your house.

There is an increasingly strong emphasis on allocating personal health budgets so you are in charge of how/when you have care.

However,if you have never employed staff before this can be very daunting

We can help with some of that stress by offering support services

Managed Budget:

A managed account will be provided to administer the use of all funds available through Personal Budgets, Direct payments, Personal Health Budgets and any other funding sources available to the you,the client.

NWSS will manage the finances on behalf of the you whilst you remain in charge of the services you receive and the way in which your services are delivered.

We will provide an account under the umbrella of NWSS, for processing Direct Payments/Personal Budgets. A statement of account will be provided to the you and/or the Local Authority/ Health Authority as required in the individual case.
Managed accounts will:
• Receive all invoices, receipts and payment requests
• Make all authorised payments from accounts (e.g. Care Agency)
• Keep a full record of expenditure
• Monitor income and expenditure
• Provide statements of account
• Allow transparent and immediate viewing access to approved users
